Hannah Tun
Hello! Mingalar bar (“Hello” in Burmese)!! My name is Han Thazin Tun but I go by Hannah and sometimes my friends call me Hannah Banana. I am a recent Kelley graduate with a triple-major in Finance, Technology Management, and Entrepreneurship & Corporate Innovation. Currently, I am working on my Master of Science in Information Systems through the Kelley Graduate Program. I am originally from Myanmar, a country in Southeast Asia, so I know lots about Asian cuisines and cooking spicy-spicy foods (by that I mean putting three kinds of chili into a dish)! I am passionate about inclusion, breaking down borders, and helping every Hoosier get a once-in-a-lifetime experience in this diverse community. I also believe in giving back to my community through volunteering and participating in other community initiatives. My main goal for this year as a FASE Senior Peer Consultant is to help all FASE mentors and protégés grow and be a better version of themselves academically, personally, and professionally. I love stepping out of my comfort zone and making new memorable experiences whether it be zip lining in front of the IMU or ordering a new weird-looking (but delicious!) dish at an exotic restaurant. I also enjoy being outdoors, cooking, travelling, and painting. I am very excited to meet all of you!
