Hello! My name is Christina Colón and I am from “The Region” (Northwest Indiana). For the 2019-2020 school year, I am a sophomore majoring in Informatics with a Cognate in Pre-Health Professions and a Minor in Spanish. I started with the FASE program as a mentee my freshman year and am so excited to share my experiences and insights with all of you as a mentor! I am truly passionate about elevating those around me on a personal and impactful level. A few of my hobbies and interests include cooking, painting, and dancing to Puerto Rican music. Some of my campus involvements include: Researcher in the ProHealth Informatics Lab within IU’s department of Informatics, ServeIT Clinic Intern, CEW&T (Center of Excellence for Women & Computing), WIC (Women in Computing), Vice President of G18 class for the Groups Scholars Program, MAPS (Minority Association of Pre-Medical Students), and Chi Alpha Student Ministries (XA).
