Deborah Winniran
Hello, my name is Deborah Winniran. I am from Indianapolis, Indiana. I have lived in Indiana for about four years, but I am originally from Oyo State, Nigeria. I graduated from Speedway High School and was a Group's Scholar member of the G’16 class. I am a pre-nursing major and looking to minor in Psychology, after my undergraduate studies I intend to further my education at grad school to be a Family Nurse practitioner. I will be a Sophomore during the 2017 - 2018 academic year. This would be my second year being involved with the FASE Mentoring program, including my first year as a protege. During my time at Indiana University so far, I have found various organizations that have caught my interest and made IU feel more like a home to me. When I am not doing school related work, I enjoy doing the following: going to the Student Recreational Sport Center (SRSC) for group exercises, dancing, volunteering and hanging out with family and friends. Although it is my first year at Indiana University, I have learned so much and I am super excited to help you through your first year, share my experiences with you and to guide you towards the unlimited resources that are available to you here in the University!
